Fashion has always been a big part of my life. My favorite memories were visiting one of the most fashionable cities in the world, Montreal, with my grandma. She grew up there and had a natural ability to put together beautiful and interesting outfits. She taught me how to stand out versus fitting in. While in college I had an opportunity to work for MAC cosmetics which lasted 15+ years. I also freelanced on the side doing make up for weddings, photoshoots, fashion shows, movies, and commercials. While I love makeup, fashion was always a big part of my life. 

I learned a lot the last couple of years after getting a divorce. I was back in the dating scene again after 7 years. This was all new to me and very different than before. Getting ready for dates was overwhelming, stressful and tiring. I would get anxious going from work straight to a date, not feeling prepared. I found dating harder than getting a divorce! 

I soon learned quick ways to get ready. This helped me to feel more confident about myself. I felt more prepared, less rushed and dates actually became enjoyable. I eventually met my boyfriend, who was attracted to my confidence and energy.  During this time I also started a fashion blog, Jessinthatdress. This was my creative outlet - I not only built friendships, I also started sharing my tips for getting ready. I knew I wanted to help other women.

This is when Your Dating Stylist was born. I was excited to take my years of experience in the styling, makeup and fashion world to teach other women. The best part about styling and doing make up is the way it brings out someone's confidence. I was excited to help people feel their best. I listen to exactly what my clients are asking for to stay true to their personal style. 

I have been in your shoes before. Stressed, overwhelmed and unsure of what to wear while dating. I know exactly the help you need to feel your most confident and sexy self on your dating journey. I can’t wait to work with you!
